Community Groups

Here at Bethany, community groups are the backbone of our church. We desire to see each person who attends Bethany involved in a community group - for fellowship, learning, prayer, and building relationships with one another through support and encouragement. For more information than is listed below, or to get involved with a group, email Pastor Stef!

Small Groups

These groups generally meet each week (usually in a home) to study scripture, pray together, and fellowship with one another. Groups consist of 8-12 people and are ongoing, often from year to year. This is our most popular and flexible type of group. If you would like recommendations on a good curriculum for your group, contact Pastor Stef.

Study Groups

These groups provide specific studies for various people groups (e.g. a women's study, Alpha). They may last from a few months to a year. Members are encouraged to also join a fellowship group as the emphasis in our Bible studies is on learning together and less on building relationships.

Fellowship Groups

These groups are for the purpose of building friendships, making them a great gateway for newcomers. They usually meet monthly (generally over a meal in someone's home). These groups are larger (approximately 20 people), often include kids, and are encouraged to grow as we welcome newcomers.
